Basically I know that unless I have something actually good to shave with I'm not going to do it. FYI, I basically don't shave, ever.

Like the price differences between Amazon and Ebay are a little concerning. Ebay is usually cheaper but not by that much.

Has anyone ever had a bad experience with a safety razor or are they pretty much always good?

I could see how a safety razor is a bit of a luxury item for some so I could see a situation where like a pen they pretty much all do their job but some are expensive anyway. Or is it because a $5 razor will actually suck?

A better analogy I thought of rather then a pen is a watch. You get what I'm saying. A cheap watch will keep time. It's normal for watches that cost 10x more than that to be the main thing marketed.

And or cheap ebay crap sucks and I don't want to invest the time to find out, or give money to people selling shit that they know is shit on ebay.
