Voat.co appears like a big sinking ship to me. Their administrators have ditched and abandoned it and trolls are vandalising the place.
Voat is still gaining new users, but that's just from the remaining growth inertia.
I don't hate Voat, but a place that heavily supresses new users and allows trolls to do much damage (like user Mumbleberry's mass downvoting) is flawed.
I'm pretty proud of poal.co and all the people that are here. It might not be huge but the people here believe in free speech and how important it is. I've made friends here and I'm glad I did it, and at the end of the day its sometimes has been hard but worth it no question.
I couldn't post there anymore cos of the mass downvote brigades. I think it's justified to hate the site for such a shit mechanic on what was meant to be a free speech site, like how the fuck is only 1 post a day allowed free speech?

User Mumbleberry downvotes literally everything I post on Voat.co and Phuks.co because he has no life. He downvoted over 100000 times in total on Voat.
Voting is a flawed concept on social sites anyway. Needs to be removed.

Make everything anon, with optional trip codes.
Make posts archive after a while.
