I found Voat from Reddit circa chairman Pao/ FPH banning. Found Poal from Voat.

Absolutely agree with this. Voat is unbelievably hostile, but they have a much larger user base and is significantly more content dense. Poal is more polite, but limited content, very small user base, not quite as one-note as Voat, but still fairly ideologically uniform. I wonder if we'll ever see a new version of pre-iphone reddit; perhaps the only way would be if lefties stopped censoring everyone they disagreed with and just got angry at their computer screen instead, like the good old days. Lefty censorship is responsible for the ideological enclaves.

But did you know? Reddit also banned too extreme leftists. They went over to Raddle.me .

Yes I recently made a 'kill all Nazis / Wypipo' account to hide myself and got perma banned without them realising I was a return account (First warning - If you return with a similar comments we might IP ban). So they didn't realize it was the already IP banned white supremacist shitskin.

Oh to answer the OP, I found voat first but it was an inactive pile of shit and I got mass downvoted twice just cos I'm a self identifying shitskin nigger faggot but they don't even like that. Non white = mass downvoted off voat. Then I managed to find this place from googling other Reddit alternatives.

There's not many places where a self hating white supremacist terrorpoogaycell can hang out.

Did those Raddlers get kicked out of Reddit? I had thought that they just found reddit too far right for their liking. But I've absolutely seen raddle style posting, especially on latestagecapatilism and the bernie subs.

Yeah. Really sucks that the dream is gone. I remember when FPH was banned, and I don't hate fat people, and that sub was totally over the top. So what? Don't go there if you don't like it. With all the people who were upset about it, I was surprised that it didn't seem to change their numbers very much.

Poal.co is what users need.

Voat.co appears like a big sinking ship to me. Their administrators have ditched and abandoned it and trolls are vandalising the place.

Voat is still gaining new users, but that's just from the remaining growth inertia.

I don't hate Voat, but a place that heavily supresses new users and allows trolls to do much damage (like user Mumbleberry's mass downvoting) is flawed.

How I found Poal.co

After some time after I got booted from Reddit , I wanted to publish the story to find out what other people have to say about it.

I headed to Voat, and posted:

Due to the very hostile responses and Voat's strict limitations onto new users, I thought I better find another more sane alternative to share my story on.

I found Poal .

After I shared my story , I got much friendlier and more civil responses such as a warm welcome by .

I still use Voat to some extent due to their much larger userbase (a few of my submissions there got over 100 upvotes, which is not possible on Poal with the current userbase, but may be soon), but am mainly active on Poal and also prefer this community.

Poal.co is also resistant against downvote misusers (unlike Voat and Phuks.co), amd even has downvote transparency for users starting at 360 points, which is awesome.

There were a lot of issues with Voat, but what finally made me move was that sub transfers were not being approved.

If the admins couldn't do this simple site management task, it didn't speak well. At the very least they could have delegated that duty to a trustworthy user.

Was a very early user of thedonald.win and the comments there were wild that week. Someone posted a link to that got deleted within the hour but I managed to catch it in time and this place was better so I stayed

Happened to be in the right thread at the right time, some time ago on Voat, when the creators were discussing creating Poal. Made an account here as soon as I heard it was up and running. Then lost my password for almost a year soon after.

Voat was down for an extended period of time and figured it was dead. Was looking for something like it but not anything like reddit.
