I've Google searched and found that either mothballs or cedar wood chips or mulch repel not just these but most insects. Now I'm looking for the cheapest Cedar chips I can find to try.

No I dont think it is based on the pictures, its both too small and we dont get stink bugs in the UK.

Its definitely not one of those, I vacuum them up normally and theres no smell.
