Love is a chemical cocktail that compels us to breed and wears off. Anything after that is human will to make it work and raise the children.

I don't like this answer but this is the theory i most believe. I'm no expert but of everything i read this is the one that makes the most sense
It is unfortunate in a way but think of it like this. It is easily proven that the human brain is not equipped for eternity. So if you have a "soul" it is a pale shadow of what you are here and now to exist in eternity.
Shame people can't accept that and be decent members of society.
People can't be decent members of society because we don't have anything to hold our society together. We aren't a single ethnic group. Some say America was founded on an idea but even that is under attack we have no common ground anymore
