I miss throwing darts at the bar.

You're supposed to throw them at the wall... where the target is

Shit, I forgot people actually went out places.

Just started getting good too.

Should have bought a board for at home.

I usually work from home so that part is no different. I'm not at all used to being in the house with my wife all day every day, though.

I can see how that could be good or bad. I live to far away and I guess I just dont like people enough to want to go anywhere anyway. The woods and Dog suite me fine.

I like to interact with people on my terms. I don't like this enforced contact.

With your wife? haha That shits funny.

Everyday is like the weekend now

Man I envy you.

I wouldn't. That virus is all over the fucking place down here.

Are you a coon ass?

No. I'm out of work now. It's driving me insane. State over reaction is going to kill a lot of people.

If life starts getting hard for a lot of people remember that it was state over reaction and not the disease. A disease can't really harm you economically anyway. Certainly not a boomer flu that only stands to increase mortality by 7% this year.

I've had like 3 interviews cancelled/postponed indefinitely in the past couple of weeks. At the rate things are going, I will have an additional 2 months tacked on to my unemployment since Jan. because of hiring freezes everywhere.

[–] 2 pts

Yep, and I've seen plenty of workers working hard. It's the uncertainty. Why hire if you don't know that you need to hire, while you could survive whipping your current staff a little harder for a few months until we know what's going on.

For that reason no one is hiring except for maybe small business where, lets say their one guy for something jumps ship to Amazon, then they need that one guy.

Sorry to hear that man, hope things work out and maybe you prepared for this. I would kinda like to stay at home with my kindle.

ahhh, you edited. You should know by now this aint just killin boomers. ( token craziest boomer here)

Life's better. I'm not getting up at 5:30am to beat traffic. I'm not driving 60 miles round trip just to work.

I'm doing meaningful stuff like teaching my kids, well the ones willing to learn, how to do simple woodwork to make something you need but can't go and buy in a store.

I miss riding my bicycle though.

I can send ya some toilet paper if ya need it.

It's better than usual. I bought a few pallets of billet aluminum (820 total blocks) in January when this all started and milled around 500 AR-15 lowers once the supply of rifles dried up around here. I've only sold 200 so far and I've already got a 1,800% profit margin on the initial buy, minus my time/labor and the cost of electricity and finishing reagents.

That's just a side hustle, my main businesses have blown up too!

Carona-chan is the best.

Kids are a bit crazier but everything else remains the same.

It's unexpectedly better. Before Corona Chan became popular and shut down le communal interactions, I finally got into a friend group but they cancelled our activities because Corona Chan is so cute and quirky OwO. I thought I was going to be extremely isolated but I spent much needed time with my family. I also started writing worldbuilding and lore for a book so the free time is appreciated ;)

No. I feel like I have been dropped in hell. Isolation sucks ass.
