With so many things feeling hoaxy right now, I am starting to question some of the claims being made about this virus. That said, I have no connection to anyone in the medical professions.

Are they really full? Being overwhelmed with new patients?

My daughter works for the medical profession in Atlanta Georgia and she says that the hospitals in Atlanta all the ICU beds are already full

Are they full because the hospital is concerned about lawsuits and panic? Say I come in with a headache, do I get an ICU bed?

Also, cannot the hospital capitalize on this? You stubbed your toe?! Corona Virus!

It is weird that none of us on the Internet seem to grasp this. It is only through anecdotes of others. Voat doesn't get it. This site does not seem to get it. Only stories of others.

Heavy Edit: I went to a major park in a major city yesterday. There was literally 20 - 50 times the normal people there with their dogs. No one seem to exhibit any symptoms of a flu or virus or anything. The 4.5 miles I walked with all the folks walking by me ... nothing.

Check the map yourself. https://gisanddata.maps.arcgis.com/apps/opsdashboard/index.html#/bda7594740fd40299423467b48e9ecf6

The city proper is split into two counties. As of yesterday, Fulton County: 231 confirmed cases. 2 Deaths. DeKalb County: 137 confirmed cases. 0 Deaths.

I suspect they are trying to keep known cases quarantined as much as possible to prevent the spread at such an exponential rate.

[–] 0 pt

What if I told you that confirmed cases means people that feel fine but tested positive for the virus?

How many ICU beds do they have? 100 total?

It looks like they have 1045 ICU beds in the 9 county metro area.

https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2020/mar/27/us-coronavirus-outbreak-georgia-hospitals-atlanta.

I think Grady hospital has 100 ICU beds, they are setting up mobile units outside of the hospital to treat others that aren't infected, but they are almost at full capacity right now. The problem is the hospitals in Atlanta are usually full just from normal stuff like car accidents, heart attacks and other illness. Most of the surrounding rural areas don't have any hospitals at all, so if you need something done they send you to Atlanta, Athens, or Augusta

Ok, that's kind of what I figured. That's usually the case with most metro areas I think, I know the ones here usually ship critical cases off to the capitol city unless they're closer to another metro area.

New Zealand

Confirmed: 283

Deaths: 0

Recovered: 27

Active: 256

The entire country of 5 million is locked down but we are allowed to go out walking and bicycle riding to exercise. Don't let the cops catch you driving your car though unless you are going to the supermarket or chemist.

chemist.

Is that New Zealand-speak for pharmacy?

My wife works in admitting for hospital near Disneyland. I know she's being sent home early Sunday morning (29th) because they aren't as full as they usually are. Her boss had emailed her about that yesterday I think. They had been slammed with normal flu bullshit for the last 2 months and then that all stopped 2 weeks ago.

She says it a little busy but normal bullshit for them. Normal bullshit for them is "Little Johnny/Suzy has a fever, we gave her Tyelenol 4 hours ago" and '"Candace" who came it at 5am after masturbating in the shower and "her" penis swelling up afterwards', as well as the ever popular anxiety attacks. Oh, and the drunk/high vagrants, can't forget those faggots.

That thing about her penis has to be made up, I don't want to believe its true. If it is a real story what has the medical world come too.

[–] 1 pt

It's true. That's not even that crazy of a case that comes into the ER my wife works at. Normal weekend walk-ins are the standard "voices in my head won't shut-up", "the fever came back after we gave the baby Tylenol", dump and runs (gang shooting), and whatever comes in from the jail/ICE/prison. Some of her best stories involve Saudis busting out MediCal/MediCare cards and black credit cards for payment along with the gypsies coming in with the man and all the other wives and kids (also with MediCal cards) and complaints about having to pay as they pull out the wad of cash.

Well that's a hell of a red pill

Isn't it neat how you'll be disobeying orders to go check?

That said, some in Canada claim to have a flu and they called the hotline and weren't even called back. Canadian government is still taking flights from China, Peru and other places as of TODAY. 1 + 1 is not adding up to 2 and your instincts that something is fishy is more than justified I think.

Let us know if you find anything.

The same thing is happening in the US. My wife had a fever, cough, and trouble breathing. The doctor told her to stay at home, and contact her if the symptoms persisted for 4 days. She calls 4 days later with the same symptoms and the doctor tells her to wait another 4 days. The doctor refused to test her and other local health agencies gave her the run around. At this point, all of the symptoms have cleared up except for the trouble breathing, but she feels mostly better.

I suspect they are trying to hide the number of mild cases to make the situation look worse than it is. This way, the government can impose unconstitutional Stay at home orders like in Michigan.

Just went out for junk food yesterday, in MI. Lighter than usual traffic, but certainly not the empty streets I had expected. Looked like any other weekend day, on a weekday.

Tons of folks out jogging or walking dogs, though. More than usual.

[–] 1 pt

In my area, the streets are empty. Main Street at noon is usually packed, but lately it has been a ghost town.

Sounds like really depends on where you are. NYC looks like a yes. Near me no, but they don't have enough PPE.

[–] 4 pts

Depends where you're at. Generally big cities are having problems but get out where people have lawns and it cools right off.

[–] 4 pts

The two hospitals nearest me are not crowded with Covid patients and they have PPE, but they're asking for donations of cleaning products like Lysol.

[–] 3 pts

yeah, all my nurse friends are getting some serious overtime at the moment.

Only 8 Corona patients are in ICU in Alberta, which is the 3rd hardest hit in Canada. 20, inclusive of the 8, are in hospital. Media/jew hoax.

Chef Dong's open!!! Ask for batty special! Less meow, more flight!

Hospitals in my City have had shortages and have been overwhelmed for decades, the virus has nothing to do with it. Immigration has taken a huge toll on Western medicine. The population is expanding too fast and the people coming in are technically retarded and suffer from high rates of birth defects and hormonal imbalances due to their inbred, inferior nature. There aren't enough spaces or doctors to support multiculturalism. That's the real pandemic.
