Can't think of any. I can think of a few cases where a country would promote another for economic benefits (mostly colonial ones with their puppet states) But never a straight up turning great for promoting another.

Can't think of one either. Usually the only countries who are friends-friends with others are in a banana republic-type relationship.

There was a popular counter-example with "Made in Germany" though, a brand by UK that was thought to be a "bad claim" on any German product during WWI. Turned out to be the opposite.
