Remington nylon 66 (en.wikipedia.org) all the way. Thing makes good AKs look unreliable and is good in arctic to desert conditions. When it got handed down to me it would shoot 5 rounds and stove pipe on the sixth, took it apart and it was all powder build up with a channel to feed the round.... And it still fired. Thing was never cleaned for 30 plus years and still worked. Gave it a deep clean and have been shooting it for 15 years with no issue and no cleaning minus the bore.
