>Or does it really not matter?
If there's nothing controversial about your business the answer is "it doesn't really matter"
Go for a the host everybody goes for, if the monthly fee is budgeted
Why? Because when you have a problem with it thousands will already have posted a question about it on QA boards and it won't take forever to solve your issue
It's like a choice for a given framework or linux distro, when all your choices are roughly equivalent, you take the one everybody go for because it's going to be easier to get infos and docs on it, the less hassle the better. The comparison also holds for picking a laptop, you take the one everybody is happy with
Also if everybody goes for it, chances are it's reliable...
Start searching for "myhost problems" "myhost is a fraud" "myhost is shit"
Of course you'll find results and sometimes you'll find much more results...
...
What else? You have the technical part and the price
Me for instance I would pick a that host (but that's just me for my needs) https://www.gandi.net/en/simple-hosting#prices (edit lol they are down just now haha... Well maybe that's a sign)
Many here will probably tell you that it's not the best blahblaha
All I know is that they are descent, affordable, here since 2 decades at least, and customizable (you can run nodejs hassle free on it or you can go php or ruby, python, with postgresql or mysql) you can try 10 days for free
I would say try the free stuff to see if you're ok with the backend to begin with, because that's what you're going to deal with everyday
