I think it's just a little more complicated though.

If people weren't so demoralized, they wouldn't be so suspicious of something that is pretty clear.

There's a reason a huge "outbreak" occurs every presidential year...

Just explain it to us like we're 5 years old.

Anyone can write "well, it's election politics is all!"

But that doesn't really mean anything, or cut through the noise. It doesn't reveal any further variables besides the ones we already know about.
