Im addicted to buzzwords and influencers. I can't decide what to eat for dinner without seeing what my favorite YouTube stars opinion is on my culinary choices. I find it's easier to just do what others think instead of deciding for myself. I guess my real question is what's the difference between Hollywood stars and internet stars? Is it just because you happen to agree with them?

My opinion is that most people don't want to form their own opinions. They're to be ruled and told what to do, and the rulers care for their needs.
