So I just got a call from the beginning of the road a car was coming. So of course I grab the AR and go wait and see. Im at the absolute end of the road. As soon as they get to the driveway I light them up. They said they got lost and turn around fast. You drive a mile down a private road and say your lost? Over multiple cattle guards?

I doubt they will be back.

How deep did you bury them?

I wouldnt ever bother digging a hole, to many coyotes here. If they come back its the car thats hard to get rid of. heh

Oh yeah, I forgot that was in the backyard.

Need to pre-dig some holes. You may never need but good to have.

That's where we used to do our drinking.

We used to drive down county roads to party also, but not private roads we didnt know. Hell there is a little concrete bridge here on county road they party on and do burnouts on. Yall prob dont have a good idea what this road looks like but it aint something you should be driving down at night if you dont know me.

Depends. Is it night time? Are there any other neighbors on the one mile drive? Is it wooded? Yes to any one of those, and hell no, I wouldn’t.

Its night, only others are at the beginning of road. Its way to far to say you got lost. Didnt get a good look obviously but it was a girl on passenger side who talked, maybe just yunguns lookin for a place to party. But it aint here.

Yes. I have done this.

And then I pitched a tent. It was pitch black, no moon that night. Very cold.

I woke up at daybreak and saw a little house RIGHT THERE! Me and a fren were on a long motorcycle trip, camping out in the middle of nowhere every night... this was a very dark night and there were no signs....

Anywho, I woke him the fuck up quietly, pointed to the house, and packed up all my stuff super fast. He was kind of, 'wtf who cares?' I make gun hand sign, because wtf, I'd consider shooting shitheads camping out on my land! Getting the fuck out as soon as knowing that you're on someone's land seems like the most sensible thing to do! I don't think anybody was there, considering how we couldn;t even see that there was a house... but still!

We rode off in minutes after that. Quietly.

In Tx private roads are marked as such. Some sre different than others. Some have many houses but when you go 3/4 of a mile with no houses you arent fuckin lost, your trespassing. This is a little two trail road.

Oh wow, that's SUPER private!

This was some teeny little orchard house in the middle of nowhere central California. It had a SUPER long driveway - it seemed like a little obscure road; nicely paved and all. They must need to use it to haul illegal aliens to pick whatever fruit occasionally grew on those trees... and then the fruit itself.

I own the road on a mountain with 7 homes. My spur/driveway has a silent alarm. Twice today, cars set off the alarm. Walked outside and just stood there. Bunch of 'oopsie' waves and turning around strangers. A house further up is for sale so we expect this during the day. But not at night.

But you have a house further up, Im the end of the road literally.

I did shit like that when I first got out countryside in my younger days. Probably city kids having fun.
Unfortunately there are people who will drive out to rural areas looking for easy booty so it's best not to go past gates or signs in places you don't know these days. Stay on the GPS in strange woods.

not when you get this far down the road.

I've been there.

When we were in the states, we tried to follow Route 66 from Chicago to Santa Monica. Not sure if you're aware, but it's not exactly one stretch of road. So we were following the GPS, and it had us go all kinds of dirt roads and other WTF places. We followed what we thought was a road, but we stopped when the road just ended, next to someone's house. While we were pulled over, a horse decided to walk up to our car and say hello. At that point, we realised that we were on someone's property and back tracked... luckily no one shot at us. This was in the day time.

That said, people will use that excuse to scope you out, and/or break in to steal shit, so it's good to be on your guard, and thank your lucky stars you have arms to defend yourself!

They are probably out driving wasting time, and thought they would go down some weird roads. What does your signage look like and how much more rural looking is your road compared to the one it connects to.

Also if they had a phone or tablet that wasn't getting a signal (maybe they need to pay their phone bill) but had an areal and were trying to use it, sometimes google maps will mark a private road.

road is a dead end, if your so stupid to obviously ( and cant see with your own eyes) keep trespassing fuck your google shit even if it would be relevant. Its not a road like your city ass fucker would think.
