Sounds like they have a contract with the feds? Is there a way you can work for them without being authorized to touch the feds stuff? Maybe they can pay you as a contractor?
I've already closed my business. and the problem is operating company vehicles, which I wouldn't be able to do as a contractor. its definitely an option, but not optimal. and frankly I don't want to be a contractor anymore. I want to work under someone else's liability. to do that I can't use thc to manage my condition. I see that now, would have been nice if someone explained it to me going in. I just assumed it was no different from insulin or any other prescription medication. I forgot that the government can invariably be counted on to mess everything up. and that's giving them the benefit of the doubt. I've learned never to mistake incompetence for ill intent. there's something fishy about this situation. something to do with making people dependent and unemployable. haven't quite wrapped my brain around it yet.
The company is probably using the drug test for a tax break. That's the problem with states legalizing (medicinal or otherwise) and the feds not changing any laws.
Their insurance probably requires it. At minimum they lower the rate for having them drug screen, but my bet is on requires it.
Is their another drug besides oxy that your doctor can give you? The doctor sounds open to alternative solutions.
I'm a bit skeptic on the whole TMS stuff (on how safe it is long term), but it might get you through it. Basically they electrically over stimulate your nerves which lowers their sensitivity and thus reduces pain. (The fact that TMS is being used on brains is the part that sounds retarded to me).
