How worth it is this particular job?
Have you considered other avenues of income?
i have a trade. unfortunately it only seems to pay well in big cities. out here in the sticks there are too many methheads that say they do what i can do, and fail. this keeps the pay low.
You're a smart guy. How badly do you need to continue your trade?
I am from the lowest socioeconomic strata. my people are now the type of people that are addicted to government entitlements. unfortunately I have "ideas" that preclude me from taking advantage of those entitlements. so, I goes to work.
Maybe try a chiropractor? They can be hit and miss but there are some good ones.
I don't have health insurance, and I cant go to work. so any other form of medical care is pretty much out of the question. my situation is that of millions of other americans. i'm not entitled to anything, its just shitty that medical care is so expensive.
Now that problem is an interesting one to research.

Good place to dip your toe in on the issue.
Do you actively need medical care or just think that you will?
I hate to recommend reddit, but go to /r/drugs and search for drug testing in the search bar, there are ways to beat all of these test.
Thats a good point. Ive never had anyone follow me into the bathroom in a drug test. It has to be easy to beat
Let's really confuse them and let everyone on poal contribute.
Does your employer suspect you recreationally do marijuana? Maybe the solution is building trust.
I have been completely honest with my employer. I really have nothing to hide. I was prescribed medication by a doctor. he understands, and is frustrated but he knows the importance of the paper trail. he also knows I'll be an asset to his company so he's being patient with me. everyone involved is frustrated with these insane rules, but the system is broken. I find it baffling that such a destructive substance as oxycontin is no problem at all. I know the solution. I have to muscle through the pain. its just the way it goes.
There are no exceptions for medical marijuana?
I think the problem is lack of information. my employer very much wants to hire me. I very much want to work for him. but there is no concrete path forward, except for me to completely abstain. as employment is a requirement for survival, I really don't see any other alternative.
Do oxy and end up acting just like beetle. I'm sure it will make your life better
thanks! well thought out advice!
Wow, going right in for the permanent cure.
is nutmeg made from nuts? or meg?
That would knock him out. Nutmeg used to be a rape drug.
This trick came from a friend from a few years ago (maybe a decade now) and he swore by it. Apparently, THC is released during fat burning. You can trick the system to temporarily clean up your urine with some techniques in combination. Do this for 3 full days before hand: get a massive (like two hours on exercise bike) sweat going (followed by some time in the sauna) while chugging a shit ton of water with lemon and lime in it - you'll urinate a lot. The night before do the massive sweat thing and then eat a MASSIVE fatty beef steak for dinner. You may also want to double it up with one of those one night a urine purifier (cleanse) from a health store.
Also, I recall that the first urine of the day is most potent. If you have a bunch of water in your system and show up when it's the third or fourth go it might help.
To make sure this is working, can you get a viable home test to check?
i'm confident i'll be fine very soon. the problem is I have a medical condition that is handled very well by moderate marijuana use. unfortunately, it turns out it is not an option for the working class because bureaucrats have determined that they know best. its given insurance companies yet another loophole to deny claims. so employers cant risk having someone on their payroll who isn't covered due to a prescribed medicine. so whatever. I don't like it, but I obey the law. because I learned long ago the law isn't applied equally, and people don't really care.
try kratom
Can you get prescribed the actual FDA approved stuff? Like marinol? It would allow you the same relief, and your employer can't label you as a marijuana user. It's completely different than medicinal marijuana because it is federally legal, and it's an FDA approved prescription. Not sure what the prescribing requirements are, but maybe look them up, then present that illness/set of symptoms to your doctor.
Sounds like they have a contract with the feds? Is there a way you can work for them without being authorized to touch the feds stuff? Maybe they can pay you as a contractor?
I've already closed my business. and the problem is operating company vehicles, which I wouldn't be able to do as a contractor. its definitely an option, but not optimal. and frankly I don't want to be a contractor anymore. I want to work under someone else's liability. to do that I can't use thc to manage my condition. I see that now, would have been nice if someone explained it to me going in. I just assumed it was no different from insulin or any other prescription medication. I forgot that the government can invariably be counted on to mess everything up. and that's giving them the benefit of the doubt. I've learned never to mistake incompetence for ill intent. there's something fishy about this situation. something to do with making people dependent and unemployable. haven't quite wrapped my brain around it yet.
The company is probably using the drug test for a tax break. That's the problem with states legalizing (medicinal or otherwise) and the feds not changing any laws.
Their insurance probably requires it. At minimum they lower the rate for having them drug screen, but my bet is on requires it.
Is their another drug besides oxy that your doctor can give you? The doctor sounds open to alternative solutions.
I'm a bit skeptic on the whole TMS stuff (on how safe it is long term), but it might get you through it. Basically they electrically over stimulate your nerves which lowers their sensitivity and thus reduces pain. (The fact that TMS is being used on brains is the part that sounds retarded to me).
