I can't wait to have a yard of my own, I'm going to be outside all the time and get to know the critters in the neighborhood. My grandpa would sit out at his picnic table everyday and feed the squirrels by hand.

When I was a kid, there was a baby bird flopping around on the ground. I put on work gloves and placed it in a lilac bush. The rest of the summer, any time I was outside a little bird, I'd imagine the same one, would fly toward me and swoop down to graze the top of my head. It would circle around and do that three times.

When I was like 6yo, I had a spider friend that used to shake/dance on its web when it saw my hand approaching with its next feast (I fed it with insects, mostly flies and worms)

Did you name your spider?

[–] 1 pt

I actually did named it George (of the jungle)

Meaning & History. From the Greek name Γεωργιος (Georgios) which was derived from the Greek word γεωργος (georgos) meaning "farmer, earthworker", itself derived from the elements γη (ge) "earth" and εργον (ergon) "work".

How appropriate for your spider to be an earth worker.

Some crow bros at a job site. Miss those guys

I rescue pigeons sometimes and a crow once called methuselah. The last pigeon I rescued was a squab and named Caractacus.

There is a frog who visits me whenever I feel a little low called Ovid.

It's not an animal story but once when I was living in a hut in the middle of nowhere, miles from shops and I do not drive - well I saw an owl actually but once I went out to collect wood for the fire and I sat down for a moment and was overcome with a feeling of absolute peace - they say the word ecstasy means to stand outside of oneself - so it was like this, it's difficult to explain but it was like being in touch with beings who have a language which is expression through feeling alone. These are the elementals of nature.

Oh and once a few months ago in my room, there were plastic bags in the corner and I looked over and there was a small person standing with there hands on one of the bags and then they disappeared after a rustle of the bag. You could call it a little person or leprechaun.

You know there is a story about Ireland -

Some men go into a bar, Americans - they have heard of a creature called The Pukka - they ask an Irish man, say do you believe in this Pukka?

The Irish man says oh no no no, no no - but then again, I don't imagine the Pukka believes in us much either.

This is an example of the celtic origins of quantum linguistics which we find in the far east.

Robert Anton Wilson writes about.
