You aren't wrong. My market value went way up, like exponentially up, in my 40s when I started making bank in a professional field. Women who wouldn't talk to me in my 20s and 30s are literally throwing themselves at me now. I am not a huge fan of those red-pill dudes, but they really are not wrong even if they are assholes sometimes.
