I've always avoided them myself. Bars to as well. Bars were and/or are still the place for me to talk (science) with females (women) only and not to pick up or bring home any women. Plus you can screw up at a bar since many won't remember the next morning of anything dumb or stupid you said the night before. Anything stupid you said by mistake and/or accident if you are just learning to talk to women and/or females. That's if they even remember you (very drunk). How I learned to not care when it came to talking to females / women for the most part myself when I was younger. It gave me a basis at least if not more than. --- I'm not one for the bar life. Haven't been to one in years. Avoid bars / online dating sites for the most part myself. Stopped going completely in my mid to late 20s. 25/26 if not 27.
