I would like Biden to run against Trump because it would crush the chances of there ever being a President Sanders. This will also inflame tensions between neoliberal and progressive democrats.

I agree that this is Bernie's last gasp (see what I did there?) at gaining the nomination. Biden is also too old to run again in 2024 so the same thing could be said if Bernie is the nominee.

He will be easier for Trump to beat.

If he does win, I don't see him getting any of his socialist ideas through congress and I feel he would be less of an interventionist on foreign policy. As far as day to day policy, they are pretty much the same right? We can expect idiot judges, an open border, etc...

For me its a toss up, on the one hand Biden is barely functional and it would make for some hilarious statements, on the other hand Sanders would be fun too just because of how extreme he is, I honestly don't think either has a chance of winning.

There is no loss at either end, frankly.
If Biden wins the primary, we get to see "Pedo Joe" memes galore. This will eventually devolve in to a very visible schism before any other election besides 2020.
If Bernie wins, we get to see the infighting boil over and the neo-libs disintegrate in to chaos all in the same night.

To cap it all off, we get the Jester In Chief to head the parade.

2016 will be nothing compared to the next year or so.

I think Trump could get Bernie's heart to pop during one of the debates, that could be entertaining. Bernie just standing there kvetching with spittle flying and then he just drops dead.

I don't think Biden will be able to keep up mentally with all the gaffes he has on a consistent basis. Biden's brain deterioration isn't something that should be enjoyed or viewed publicly. I don't have a problem with him helping his son, my problem is with how he helped his son.

I want to see and hear Trump pull his Hunter's shenanigans into the debate conversation. Dating his late brother's wife, crack whores, Burisma, etc. running on a 24 x 7 news cycle would be massively entertaining.
