I don't like spammers or bots. I went to their profile, and the block button doesn't appear to be working. This is the first time this happened. Anyone have a clue as to why this is occurring?

No, starjello already said there is limit of 10. Which is impractical to say the least. One spammer can make 10 accounts and use up all 10 blocks already.
