nah, no discussion before. Im totally ignorant on it. In fact I left it in a safe I gave my son. It still had the gunshow tag on it. I really try to keep the calibers down to about 5 or 6.

I paid $50 for my first one, back when nobody knew what they were and they were just kind of looked at as weird old junk.

I remember when sks wasnt much more, wish I had bought about 20 of them. Oh well.

Hell, same here. At least I got me a super nice SKS, even if some faggoty bubba sanded all the original finish off. To be fair, it's sanded super well, but still.
