There's no username search to prevent abuse but, as mentioned by , you can follow users and their names will show up in your poal feed in https://poal.co/follow (PIF in the menu bar)

Ok, seems if they’ve been banned, I can still see their stuff, but if they deleted their account, I get a 404 error. Sound right?
Yep, it looks like a deleted username gives a 404. IDN about the ban, but there's a sub for it, https://poal.co/s/SiteBans/new

Write it where without it being a post to something? Like I can say here, what happened to and then click it after I post this, but what if I’m just trying to find someone I haven’t seen in a while and don’t want to post anything about them, just wanna look at their profile without posting anything to see the last time they posted or commented?
