No, they don't bother me. I try to give them their space if I encounter them, because if I give them space I'm less likely to get bit. The tricky part is when you find a shed skin someplace you wouldn't think they would be. Like the outside closet with the Christmas decorations...good thing it has been really cold here, that should slow them down some and maybe even put them to sleep. Task one for January - get better bins to ensure the critters stay out of the decorations.
