I went into the office at work the other day, and saw that the surveillance system had facial recognition technology. Disgusting, but I gotta pay the bills. Now I am taking a rideshare service, and the driver has a passenger facing camera recording all this shit.

I've been thinking about this recently, and am trying to find a legitimate way to hide my face from all these invasive cameras, especially the ones with facial recognition.

So far, my thoughts are:

  1. Wearing a burqa
  2. Becoming a juggalo, because apparently juggalo makeup confuses facial recognition software
  3. Masked cosplay all the time and just claiming a convention is in town
  4. Tactical blackface, pretty much the same as juggalo makeup, but more offensive

Any other ideas?

Large, dark sunglasses (or prescription sunglasses if you need them to see), and a facemask like doctors wear. If people give you looks, just tell them you have a cold and they'll be appreciative.

Other way is to get a motorcycle, and just wear a full face helmet everywhere with a mirrored visor.
