I have an 11 year old shirt I still wear once a week for work. The fabric is light and wonderful and it is a pretty great shirt

I got hand me down wool shirts/pants/hunting coats that date back to the 40s. Still look brand new, they do not make wool clothing like they used to.

Damn I think you are the winner.

I would probably win in every category. Got all family heirloom stuff dating back to the 1600s, my newest pieces of furniture were hand built by my great uncle in the late 40s. No ikea shit here.

I still have cargo shorts from high school. They were big on me then and fit just right now.

They still in pretty good condition?

Probably a pair of pants that I literally put back together with zip ties I haven't worn them in a few years, but I used to wear them when working on cars.

Yeah that should probably have a pic attached cause those most be some ragged ass pants

A shirt my dad gave me from 1983. I wear it as a pj shirt and every once in a while out even though it has a hole in the sleeve now :( I should probably retire it and frame it before it falls apart.

What is the emotional value of it? You can relegate it to a special day of the week/month maybe period as to not ruin it more? Spitball.

I space out the wears to maybe once an month and try not to wash it too much unless needed. I would hate for it to fall apart so I'm thinking it might get framed here soon and find a home on the wall.

If that means more to you than use then do it. All things fade away and enjoy while it is here. Take a picture and frame it?

I just replaced a pair of shoes that I've been wearing every day for the past 18 years.

Some dress shirts/polos and accompanying pants that are 14 years old that I used to wear when I had a blue collar job. I'm still amazed they fit, since I've put on 80 pounds of muscle since I bought them.

I've only worn it once to try it on, but I have my grandpa's suit that he wore once when he married my grandma back in the 40's. I also plan on only wearing it once, on my wedding day, then passing it on to my sons.
