when i binge or caught in my depression... i've gone a week, its pretty gross. then my heart and mind kicks in... and like let's fix this

I was drafted into the Vietnam war .. I told the Army to fuck basic training and just drop me behind enemy lines. They did. There was no point in bathing as it makes you feel good for five min. before the commie stink overcomes you again and it takes the edge off. So I stayed behind enemy lines, killing gooks usually with my 4" knife so I could watch the life ooze from their bodies. I re-upped while in the field, returning 6 mos. after the war was over - I knew that the war ended but I still wanted to kill commies, so I stayed. I only came back because my 4" knife's blade broke while stabbing a gook in the skull 50 times.

1 week. It was a field op when I was in the military. It happened several times, once in a record cold snap at Camp LeJeune, once at Fort Hunter Liggett and several times at 29 Palms in September/October. There might have been a longer stretch in there, but I'm not remembering one, if there is it would have been during a ship-op and would have been 2 weeks.

We all had wipes to wipe off, but that only works for so long. I usually ended up using toothpaste to clean my hair after going that long.

Usually 1 day at most if not 2.

It's usually 1 or 2 times a day. I prefer twice a day.

My hair grows so fast on my body that I do shave to as well to prevent any smell from trapping in my body hair due to sweating over time or every 4 months I shave my chest/stomach and such plus under my arms or pits to as well to prevent smell from accumulating over time.

I've probably been a week before due to camping a long time ago though. I just went in the lake and cleaned off while swimming or something like that. I probably smelled like "lake" if not "fish waste / fish poop".

Fish dumping in the lake when there's clearly signs at many places that they have to use porter potties and such.

Lake I can put up with myself and kind of enjoy it in some strange way, but it's still got a strange smell to this day and if I cared that much I could just get a bar of soap while camping or something like that.

I swim or workout in the summer time in more or so a private location myself. I don't mind the smell that much and I go for 30-60 minutes to get a decent work out in if not just stretch out my body to be agile and work on releasing stress from my body and such.

That other smell of letting sweat collect and collect in hair and such over time to develop into a nasty concoction of extremely foul odor. That's one of the worse smells you can encounter to me personally.

It's almost like a skunk that can't skunk you, but you are still skunked if you are close enough to the person that basically has the smell of being skunked by a skunk. In that realm at least especially if it's really fowl. I just can't put up with it at all myself and that's one of the worse smells to encounter I want to say myself.

Probably a week and a half camping as a scout. When you swim in a lake every day there is no point. Does that count as bathing? It's not like I was trying to.
