This. This is such a big deal. Technically the Koreas are still at war, just a cease fire in place (armistice). And he makes a gesture to a very unstable individual. Very risky politically, but the only move you make if you actually give a fuck about world stability and peace.

I knew he wasn't a small government guy going into voting for him. That was something I had to stomach. However you are 100% right about the foreign aide. That is easily the most frustrating thing about his presidency. brings up good points and I think we need to take the good with the bad. Another thing I will add to that list is the amount of conservative federal judges he is getting appointed. He has also greatly reduced legal immigration from shithole countries.
To paraphrase , what the fuck else am I supposed to do? I voted libertarian for president when it was Obama vs McCain. In that election I couldn't stand either of those idiots. So I didn't care. This time around, as much as Trump has room to improve, there is no way I could risk Hillary being president.
Trump is doing a lot that I like, but yes there is a lot left to be desired.
We don't want the perfect to be the enemy of the good. However one judges his success at it, I don't see any other contender standing up for US sovereignty and jobs/manufacturing.
USMCA just might be a different form of TPP. The Devil is in the details, as always with those monstrosities.
