I like the saying prepare for the worst and hope for the best. Odds are you are correct and our monetary system will collapse. However on the off chance it doesn't I'd like to be prepared for that too. I'm prepped for if the shit hits the fan. I'm not prepped for if it doesn't. So I am trying to prep for both. If survival is all you can get in a SHTF type scenario that really doesn't take that much effort to be prepared for, learn to get your own food, learn to make fire, learn to make power, learn to get clean water. Boom done. I know how to do all of that. Trying to rebuild a society that a previous generation completely fucked up, that one is a lot harder.
