Normally I would kiss the wife, play with my son, and hang out till dinner.

The last 2 weeks, I'm lucky if I get home before they are in bed.

I know that feeling. Its never a fun one. There was a month at my last job I was working 5am to 8pm almost everyday and I had poal lol. During that wasn't much time for family.
