I’m interested in the lore of poal , I’ve heard you two developed in response to voat black outs. And although I’ve seen users that use both platforms (myself included).there seems to be some animosity between users here and there. Putt has spoken highly of poal. And I believe I’ve seen pmyb2 in the fngt recently.as well as I think aou was a fairly frequent contributor to voat when I first joined voat.( working off clouded memories tho) I could be mistaken.

There is no animosity between poal's admins and voat's admins. I suppose I can't speak for Puttitout but I can speak for myself and I think competition is a good thing. The more free speech platforms the better. We are after all trying to take on tech giants and we would be stupid to believe we can do it alone.

I founded Poal in response to the Voat black outs. I genuinely thought it was possible voat would die and there would be no space left for free speech online so I went out and did something about it. showed up day one and started helping out, I shortly after that made him an admin.

I have been on fngt not too long ago, I would like to be there more often as I enjoy the music but between life and poal I'm stretched pretty thin at the moment.

was a janitor on Voat way back in the day, he hasn't hidden this fact, he's always supported the ideals of freedom of speech.

In the interest of full disclosure I also ran TraditionalHusbands and TraditionalMen on voat.

Good read , thanks for taking the time! Putt has said similar in regards to your first paragraph BTW. (Although some of his biggest supporters would beg to differ)At any rate I’m glad you had the time and foresight to create this place . I always considered poal like a voat vacation home. And I mean that in a positive context.similar but a little more quaint. Thanks for having me.

I will im still trying to figure out if 9est is 5 or 6 pst but aou said it’s global sticky so I’ll check back in after fishing. I can only fish till around 430 anyway as it gets too dark so I’ll be sure to catch it man

I used voat myself before deleting my account then came over to poal. I just avoid all the animosity myself or anything that happens there if there are problems. I only went back to voat for a couple of days then realized it wasn't for me. Just preferred poal more or so myself.
