All the gun control laws are their plan, all the damn frogs are too stupid to see it and fall for the emotional arguments. With each mass shooting, my oldest 2 sons get more and more pro unrestricted 2A.

The best part is when the shootings happen in places that have strict gun laws. They haven't told us how that high schooler got his illegal gun other than it might be a ghost gun. The Fresno shooting at a football party is confined to the dustbin of forgotten history and they are in a pickle with the Jersey City shooting because they targeted, allegedly, a kosher deli.

I don’t think the gun laws can accomplish what they want. I think it’s going to take something more radical considering there are an estimated 100 million gun owners and 300+million guns in the country. I think they’ll shut off the power, let us kill eachother and starve to death for a couple years before the U.N. rolls in with safe zones, at which point they will offer showers, shelter, 3 hots and a cot for the survivors if only they turn in their guns. The remaining 1/3rd of the population (or less) will largely jump at that opportunity by then. .

The urban centers, sure that could happen and probably will. I don't think that will happen in small towns and rural areas, in this instance, I'm defining rural as 20 minutes past the suburbs.
