Yeah but that’s not quite as in your face as an actual social credit system being linked to everything you do, from not obeying traffic laws in real time, to your political views and everything in between literally dictating whether you get a loan, effecting your employability at all companies, your bank account, who knows wtf else. China has over a million people in re-education camps, I guarantee you some of those people were put there because of their social credit score. That’s a real social credit system. Right now it’s not even close to that reality, other than if you’re looking to get hired at some silicone valley company or want to share right leaning views on social media....certainly some persecution but not even close to the same caliber.
some banks and silicone valley related services are getting more involved now too. I’m not trying to understate where we are at currently, it’s certainly a sign a more infringements to come.
Really? It may not be as fast, or active, as it is in China, but it is still there. The big difference between us and China is we aren't commie/totalitarian, yet. The Chicoms can just declare something and it is set in stone. Here, it goes before a cheery-picked court so the leftists have the best chance at getting their way.

You are ignoring how much more rebellious we are. I think they were trying to implement something similar leading up to the 2016 election and after, saw that it wasn't going to work as they thought at the time and have backed off to just shaming and dehumanizing people by getting them kicked off social media platforms and fired.
