I should it's super easy to install and such. I did a website / blog and forums on my own server back in the day when I was in my early 20s and such and have done websites for years myself. Most of it's 1 click install nowadays to as well when it comes to actual hosting not using my computer and such to work like a server.
I want to just start a website and let people say whatever the fuck they want to say. Ban people for 24 hours when they mess up bad (only permanent and instant bans would be child porn if not a few other things). If they are just regular trolls and such that keep spamming give them a 24 hour then a 7 day then a month ban and so on.

I have extremely thick skin (usually what causes problems for others) myself usually so I would be able to handle 99.99% of the free speech stuff without even trying. 00.01% might bug me or phase me a bit, but I'd just troll them back if they started trolling and/or have my outlet so it wouldn't be bad at all.
Collect stats on how many people called me "fucking retarded" or called me some "nigger fucking faggot" and such. They have to get to the point where it has to get so unique to even make fun of me that they are writing complete paragraphs alone at that point. Could even rate them to as well when they try to make fun of me on uniqueness or cleverness.
Threats online (security) when it comes to nothing illegal websites, stem from 2 main sources: Money and politics/religion
If those aren't allowed on your forum (no money (it's not a commercial platform, there's no money exchanged through it), no politics, no religion), chances are you aren't going to run into hacking trouble, basiclly nobody gets mad at you and there's no profit to make by hacking your forum
Now, you probably don't mind very much about the money part (didn't plan anything about it, few ads aside), but you'll probably want the politics and religion stuffs, which will inevitably attract partisan crazies, .gov entities eventually, who will attempt to shut you down for wrong think if your audience is large enough to represent a political threat in their fragile little minds
