Free speech will weed out most leftists alone. They won't be able to handle it for the most part. Remembering the more a website is controlled the more leftist it is usually (not always true - obviously), but it works all the time actually.

I never liked the hate speech laws myself since I figured it would just keep trapping itself more and more.
"hate speech" - you could say "hi" / "hello" is hate speech since it's a white male invention or it's in English which is heavily white and is hateful of non-english speakers or other types of people due to race alone to as well. So it basically keeps falling back in on itself time and time again until hi / hello are on the chopping block. They can't come up with a reasonable solution (to them in this situation - loony leftists / loony leftism) so people are forced to stay 50 feet from each other and not talk to each other at any point since hate speech isn't possible at this point. The problem is laws don't always work and many people don't follow them at the same time. Governments panicing because they can't talk to each other since the government had to follow the law to as well. They all had to stay 50 feet away from each other.
I agree with you on what you said though and that's definitely true to me personally. An example would be... It starts with one thing and ends up at hi / hello which is a "stupid white male" (started in white england or English for that matter is the stupid white male invention) invention alone at that point to them. You gave me a great idea to create a few paragraphs that work very well with what I said above in my mind.
