The best is when someone already knows the story of Eli Cohen. That way I just say "maybe Epstein was just another Eli Cohen? It's the exact same story between the two, but just different targets." Gets people thinking, at least.

Whenever making a claim like this around normies it's good to have some evidence on hand to back it up. Actually, I've found since normies have no basis for their current beliefs, they require no evidence to overturn those beliefs. Sheeple are herd animals, and if they generally view you as intelligent and informed, that's usually enough.
