Tried the vuescan before w/o luck. Re-tried it today and seemed to work. Been trying various software for months, on and off...using an older PC for scanning .. that PC took a windows issue where it locked up the machine .. terrific, right? I still have a XP machine just to run a microscope I have ... computers. Making the world easier. My ass.
