And have it sort by ping values?

Every search engine is bollocks and only favours major sites as top hits.

I want to favour companies nearby that host their own shit.

Or is there a yellow pages of the internet that you can look through by what they sell?

Yeah time, I'd have done it already if I had more time. I think it would be worth while because then I would have one to use that I know isn't selling my data. I would also make it available to anyone else who wanted to use it but I want to do it primarily because I don't know of one that isn't selling data in one respect or another. I've seen many claim they are not but every time I dig into it, oh look they are anyway.

I could do it no problem I started on it years ago and had something functional but then I had kids and that kind of put a damper on side projects then I learned how to manage my time better and then used my spare time on video games which was stupid. Then I quite them and started poal. Right now I'm in a bit of a situation that has me working 7 days a week so until I can get past that and get to the point where I can work less finish a few things I want to get done for poal. My next project is a real poal search engine I tried using a searx instance but I'm not super happy with it. I think I can do it better.

I'm sure you can, man.

You're a pretty ambitious guy. That's pretty respectable. Good on you. You must be a great dad.

Not as great as I would like to be. I honestly that last couple days wonder if I've been to harsh with my oldest.

Better than too soft. Always.
Different story with young girls, though.
