I've found that, "Jews don't care about the Old Testament," works pretty well. I've had luck with others like Story of Noah's Ark being stolen (seriously, we'd be inbred as fuck) and some others but then the Vatican came out and destroyed them by claiming everything in the Old Testament doesn't mean what it says it does.
I mostly leave them alone now, I recognize that most people need to worship something as that is how they are wired. I do know the desert religions aren't for me, mainly because of the hypocrisy.
