For a few reasons
- I would like to start paying my own cell phone bill
- I waste too much time on my current phone, Galaxy S4. Less features --> wasting less time
- Harder for ((them)) to track my location
Downsides:
- No GPS app for when I need to drive somewhere new
- Not sure if there are other downsides
