The Constitution was violated almost immediately by your own infallible founding fuckers, look up the whiskey rebellion for just the first most blatant violation.
It barely lasted a century before we went full socialist: see the depression era reactionary laws and then the new deal. You can thank women for giving us prohibition, and later welfare coupled with an unending drug war. With the resulting police powers that would have been Stalin and Mao's fevered wet dream.
What we have now is socialism parading as a free market, with a giant government with its hooks into every aspect of our lives. And a ppl too stupid or apathetic to care.
Look I get it, the rest of the world is worse. American exceptionalism is real, but also be able to see its flaws.
I hope this country breaks into more manageable regions, and I end up in the one that goes full free market.
But more likely is our decent further into socialism ↘️ authoritarian regime ↘️ starvation ↘️ mass Graves
I ain't going down with this ship...
And I left off the whole civil war fiasco, where the states lost any remaining facade of sovereignty. The violations committed by Lincoln should have painted him a traitor, not a hero regardless of the slavery aspect.
It's so strange to see conservatives worship the Constitution, when the spirit of its laws have been rejected constantly for our entire history.
