Gotta use day as the site's updated look's way too dark for my old tired eyes.

Maybe your screens settings are fucked up.. try adjusting contrast for example.

The colors are too close on the day in the text box and I struggle to read it so I spend most of my time in night mode. Several of the colors used for usernames are also difficult for me to read in either mode.
