Broader-scale question: Should one accept criticism from the layman?

[–] 2 pts (edited )

Yes. The layman is the target audience, so why not? Sure, can it go too far in some (even still relevant) circumstances, mayhaps. Doesn't make the criticism invalid in the least, however.

If all I had to say was "you do better, faggot," what could I gain? I believe anyone can draw, but I myself, want to improve if I decide to try to draw again and love nothing more than proper criticism, even from those that have not practiced themselves. I would never post it if I couldn't handle it, and I am wanting all of the criticism I can get. You cannot improve without criticism.

Edit: Basic grammatical errors. Am drunk, and still likely left some errors... don't judge me too much!

Still would love your personal criticism and opinion, with absolutely no qualms. Lay it on me, good ser. :)

I like it. It looks like you were influenced by Avatar for this one.

Actually never watched it more than 2-3 episodes, but couldn't get into it myself. I always liked the hypothetical civilized tribal girl, but only a fantasy that never existed ;p

What do you tell a woman with two black eyes? Nothing she's already been told twice.
