Momento Mori, or, Latin for Remember that you must die.

I go back and forth on this one.

Is it important to always remember that we will die?

If you are lucky, you may have 4,000 weeks in your life.

And within all of those weeks, you will have 7 days, and everyday you will be able to accomplish something, or waste it away, or achieve something truly regrettable.

And every accomplishment, or waste, or regret, may or may not haunt you when you die.

Death might just unburden you from all your misery.

Or you might take all of your pain and regret into the afterlife.

Hard to say, from this vantage point.

But we all have to remember,

That we will die.

This place is a dream, only a sleeper considers it real. Then death comes, Like a dawn. And you wake, laughing at what you thought were your grief. -Rumi
