Smyrna Beach in Florida has a Bob Ross studio for painting lessons. Learned a lot but I prefer acrylics due to the fumes of Bob's technique of wet on wet with oils. Oil paintings can take up to 24 months to dry. The floral painting class used acrylics. You learn to work very fast and have a method of approach is key. I would move back to FL just for this.

Not sure when it was ever good. They have always been liberal Talmud vision. This show was good though.

Bob is rockin' that red Jew-frow.

While he's brushing the sky, I'm saying to my monitor "Missed a spot."

I read that's his hair is naturally straight and he got a perm thinking it would help his music career. He landed that paint gig and still had the perm and everyone liked the fro so the producers wouldn't let him change it. So he despised that fro later on.

Edit to add: Well watching an entire episode of Bob was never intended to be on my bucket list, guess I can cross it off anyway. Was curious to see how the hell you would paint reflection in the water, thought that would be some difficult technique. Nope, it's the easiest damn part. That was interesting. Good watch for an early Saturday morning with coffee and nothing in particular to do.

For wet on wet technique it is very easy to paint a reflection. This painting of his was pretty good.
