I like the fact that he does all of the overkill refinishing work on things that are beyond just a simple restoration job. Taking the patina off of something that just need a long oil soak and rub down with soft fabric is sacrilege. The firearms he fixes up are at a "trash" rating and brings them back to very close to new. Also it helps to have the shop he has at his disposal.

I agree. I was surprised he sent out the parts for bluing, but I guess that makes sense, it's a specialty. And without the equipment he has, this is beyond most of us, even if we had the talent he has.
