I'm shocked that no one is making simple automated targeting frames for anti-drone work. A small board running OpenCV with some decent cameras and some tele lenses, some servos and a whole lot of ballistics code and you've got a system that can account for bullet drop, distance to the target, leading the target etc. and aim and fire automatically.

Add some sensors for wind and the like and you can even correct for drift.

Granted you still need a human operator to reload and shit, but for hitting drones it's going to be more accurate than a human gunner.

This is exactly how the augmented targeting scopes on the new infantry weapons for the Army work.
