I remember when I first saw this story and have thought back to it from time to time. If I had to bet on why nobody has been saying anything about this, it would be because anyone who looks into this is going to have to challenge (((accepted facts))) which would mean being refunded, and probably something akin to being canceled from their job.
archive.today is making me do a never-ending captcha to load the page. Hasn't done that in years for me.
