Yes, seems strange. Like the pyramids scattered around ancient societies lik4 e Egypt, South America. Stonehenge is also impressive considered they had no heavy lifting mechanical equipment in England then obviously.

Domestic dwellings. Good lord, that absurd. Look at the height of them. If you're a farmer, you don't build that high, because there is no reason. Compare it with all the farmer's cottages you've ever seen in Great Britain. They are low structures, usually one floor. It's a place for the surrounding farmers to retreat into during raids, a fortification. The Vikings were correct to call it this. And that high conical roof is also ridiculous. The bowmen would have been on the top of the structure, to shoot arrows down into the raiders below. They would have had to repel anyone trying to climb the walls, or dismantle the walls. They would have dropped rocks on their heads from the top. These fucking archaeologists, they define the term "stupid smart."
