I feel the same. The prequels were a HUGE let down, especially after such a long wait. I was so excited and then meh.
I actually didn't mind The Force Awakens, but The Last Jedi was complete trash, that movie pissed me off so much.

Like everything ... they catch on with a good thing, then it becomes all about the money and damn the actual content.

Yes, but that is short sighted of them. In order for it to keep making money it has to keep being good. If they start putting out trash ala The Last Jedi then your brand starts to suffer. Hence the poor performance of Solo, which actually a much better movie than The Last Jedi.
