Not really up on India's burial customs, did a quick search do they just cremate as the normal?
There are cremation stations all along the Ganges that burn bodies basically 24/7 and dump the ashes into the river.
That and charnel grounds (en.wikipedia.org) which are pretty damn retarded.
Just trash the body when its used up huh. The charnel grounds thing reminds me of sky burials, and its in that wiki page as well. Letting birds come down and just eat the corpse clean. Sheesh.
